DOWNLOAD TWO OF MY MATH SOFTWARE STACKS

I (with lots of advice from Dr. Lawrence Ellerbruch, Professor of Mathematics at Northern Michigan University) created the following 3 math practice software applications a few years ago with Hypercard. They are "stand-alone" applications which can run on a MacIntosh computer-- independent of other software like Hypercard.

You will be able to DOWNLOAD each and run it by just clicking on the application icon. MATH I consists of 90 randomly generated math questions on MENTAL ARITHMETIC. MATH II consists of about 90 randomly generated questions on GEOMETRY & MEASUREMENT. MATH III consists of about 170 randomly generated questions on ALGEBRA & STATISTICS & PROBABILITY. If you like MATH I and MATH II, write to me. If enough people want MATH III, I will make it available to you.

The intent of the 3 stacks is to have a middle school or early high school MATH student practice math questions related to state math tests like the MEAP or the HIGH SCHOOL PROFICIENCY TEST. Not only are the questions generated randomly, but so are the answers. Score is kept and an explanation of how to do the problem is given if the wrong answer is given. Once you have downloaded the program, just click BEGIN TEST (and subsequently, NEW QUESTION) . Click on a choice, check your answer and click NEW QUESTION to continue as long as you like. Select QUIT HC to stop the program at any time.

CLICK on the stack that you want to download and wait until the icon appears on your desktop. Have fun!!!

Math Stack II
Math Stack III (Not available to you, yet.)

**Special thanks to Dr. Lawrence Ellerbruch, Math Professor at N.M.U., and William Ellerbruch, fellow high school teacher, for teaching me how to create HTML documents. It has been fun.
