P7 Tutorial on how to use The Food Guide Pyramid to help make
smart and healthy choices on what we eat every day. Click on the P7 link to help you form a
healthy diet plan for yourself.
P8 The P8 link is to my e-book resources. The links are to web pages
that offer easy to find books that students may use at their will. E-books are great for
students
as they are always available and students may find books on the Internet that are not offered in
their school library.
P9 The P9 link is to my game resources.
I have chosen five games to display as I find them not only as
fun, but also beneficial to students. So please visit and "Let the games begin".
P10 The P10 link is to my Java game. The Java game I chose was
Word Search created by Mike Hall at http://www.javaboutique.internet.com/WordSearch/. The game
challenges students to find related words within a grid of jumbled letters. I hope you find it as
fun to play as I do.
P11 The P11 link is to a lesson on how to tell time. The web page
includes the lesson, a worksheet to develop your time reading skills, and a quiz to test your
knowledge on reading time. Good luck and remember to take your time and do your best.
P12 The P12 link is to a power point presentation
on plotting points suitable for grades 6th and 7th.
This lesson will explain the basics of a coordinate system and offers a maze game
to practice and develop your plotting skills more accurately.
So check it out and have fun.
P13 The P13 link is to a lesson
on Roman Numerals suitable for 5th or 6th grades.
This lesson will explain the differance between the Roman and Arabic number systems.
This website offers information on conversions, where we use Roman Numerals, and even offers
a game to practice your conversion skills. This website also provides a worksheet and quiz for
students and the answers for teachers as well as other resources.
