Eat a Variety of Foods and Enjoy



In your lifetime you will spend 6 years eating about 70,000 meals and 60 tons of food. What you eat affects energy level, well being and overall health. Choosing foods that provide adequate amounts of the nutrients you need while limiting substances linked to disease should be an important part of your daily life.

This site is designed to help fourth and fifth grade students understand the importance of nutrition, and inform them about the food pyramid.
