Skeleton System
Welcome sixth graders! Your body has
lots of bones! Bones help
give your body shape. All your bones together is called our
skeleton. When we talk about the way our bones work together it is called our skeletal system. Without our
skeleton, we could not stand or even move. Think about what our life would be like if we didn't have a
skeleton, or if our bones didn't work together in a system. Without our skeleton our bodies would be a blob
