Scientific Method





Every day scientists investigate problems. Sometimes the problems are quickly solved and sometimes they take many years to solve. And sometimes problems remain unsolved. When scientists try to solve a problem, they usually search for an answer in an orderly way. This orderly systematic approach to problem solving is called the Scientific Method. The basic steps to the Scientific Method are: Stating the Problem, Gathering Information on the Problem, Forming an Hypothesis, Performing Experiments to Test the Hypothesis, Recording and Analyzing Data, Stating a Conclusion and Repeating Your Work.
