How to Make a Pinwheel

Although they are excellent ways to learn, everyone needs a little break from drills and repetitive exercises sometimes. To get coordination skills flowing, a craft activity can be very useful. How about making a pinwheel? For third or fourth graders, making pinwheels can be challenging, but yet rewarding and fun.

Here, you will find out what you need to make a pinwheel and get the step-by-step instructions needed to guide you through making your very own pinwheel. To help show what to do, there are pictures next the written directions to show what your pinwheel should look like as you complete each step. If you scroll down the screen just a little, you will find out how you can get started to make you own pinwheel.
