A bank robbery occurs and you have to figure out which employee has done the crime. You figure out the guilty party by answering questions on percentages that are given. A question is given and the answer is found by using a pie chart which has an area shaded. Answer it right and a clue is given.
The game is a great way to learn about and practice percentages and fractions. The game is fun because it has a storyline that goes along with all of the percentage problems. Students have a fun way to learn about percentages and fractions.
This game can be used to help 5th and 6th grade students to learn and practice percentages through fractions. The fractions are found by looking at the amount of the pieces of the pie that are shaded to the total amount of pieces of the pie. The game is a good way for students to understand the relationship between fractions and percentages.
