Conjunctions are words that join clauses together to make sentences
and show how the meanings of the clauses, words, or phrases relate to each other.
-some examples of conjunctions are: AND, BUT, OR, SO
-example sentence with a conjunction: "My mom loves to cook, but hates to clean up."
