This lesson is geared for sixth graders.
This lesson is about the Six Essential Nutrients. There are six nutrients which are essential for a healthy balanced diet. They include water, proteins, minerals, vitamins, carbohydrates, and fats. In this page I hope to teach you about each of these nutrients and their functions and importance for our bodies.
