This webpage has tons of facts about the 50 United States of America. You just look at the chart and click on a state. The link will take you to a page that will tell you all about each state. It will tell you things like the state flower, capitol, location, sports teams, major industries, nicknames, and much more. It also has links to aditional pages where you can get more info on the states and even links to games you can play to learn about the state.

This link will take you to a great game to practice your skills on locating the states. All you do is drag and drop the state into the correct location. There is even an option to turn the borders on or off to change the difficulty level.

Mrs. Jones: The 50 States that Rhyme Song.
This webpage is a great page to help you learn all the names of the 50 states. It has the lyrics to the song to help you better remember all the 50 names. It also plays the song for you so you can hear it and sing along. For people who find memorization difficult this little song will be quite helpful.

Fifty Nifty United States Word Search
This web page is a good page to get familiar with the vocabulary and spelling of the 50 states. All you have to do look through the word search and find the names of the states listed below. Once you have finished you can either click answers to find ones you have missed or you can click new game to start over with new words! This is a good way to remember the names and spelling of state names.

It also has a link to the general information about states and links to games, quizzes, and activities. This web page is a good page to learn interesting facts about all the states. It focuses on has information that wouldn't be in your typical social studies book but is fun to know. For instance for Michigan it has facts like: the city of Novi was named from its designation as Stagecoach Stop # 6 or No.VI. It is pretty useless information but its fun to look at.

America's Story: Explore the States
This web page has lots of great stories all about the 50 United States of America. For each state there are about five interesting stories about their history. In addition to stories there is a quick quiz question that changes everyday and a treasuer hunt with in the site. To start the hunt you just have to click the treasure hunt link and fallow the directions.

States Web Games
This web page has some good games to help you learn about the states. In some of the games you locate the state, some test you on your capitols, some your abbreviations, and some give you clues to guess the state.

Name that State Game
This web page has a game that quizzes you on the location of all the states. It will show you a map with a state in pink and list four states next to it. All you have to do is choose the correct answser.

This web page is a good page to go for the general facts and information on the 50 states. It's got things like the state capitol, flower, bird, motto, tree, song, and much more listed. It also has a link to a pages that deal with the US government, all you do is click the age group that you would like at hte top of the page and it will give you tons of government info.

This webpage is an awesome web page for kids to learn tons of interesting facts about each state and the United States in general. The main page has a map with links to each of the states, these links will take you to a fact page for each state. These fact pages have tons of information on things like the capitol city, population, median age, points of interest, and much more. The page will also have a picture of the map and a link to a map of each state. Not only does this page have links to state fact pages but the bottom of the main page has additionl links to info. on the US in gereral. For instane it has links to info on the park system, trivia, games quizzes, and lots of other stuff.
