Description of Game:


Tower of Hanoi

The objective of the game is to move all of the blocks from the left column to the right column. You can only move one block at a time and you can add as many as ten blocks to make the game more difficult.

Navy Battle

This game is a fun and interesting game. This game is a simulation of the board game Battleship. To play this game you place your ships accross the board, then the players take turns picking points accross the grid to find and sink your opponents ships before s\he sinks yours.

Drop 4

Drop four or connect four are the same game. Within this game the student must play against another student. At this point, the students put the coins in the top of the frame. The object of the game is to get four of your colored coins in a row, either horizontal, vertical or diagnal. When this is accomplished that player has won.

Dot Game

This game is played against the computer and can be played as a beginner or as an expert. Here a grid is given and the student must connect two dots. The point of the game is to connect fout lines and make a box without giving the computer a chance to complete it. In the end, who ever has the completed the most boxes wins.

Counting Game

This is a fun similuation game that helps students with counting items as well as recognizing numbers. This game is interesting because it's fun for the students. Each level has four or five kids fishing around a pool. At the end of their fishing poles, are numbers which a student clicks and drags to different schools of fish that each contain a different number of fish. Once one screen is completed, then another, more difficult, screen pops up until the game is mastered.

Multiplication Math

This math game is categorized as a drill game. This game is bingo with a bit of a twist. This site gives a couple of options of math bingo, for instance multiplication, addition and division are all choices. A math problem is given and once solved, the answer must be found on the bingo chart. Once five correct answers in a row are given, you have won. This game is played by solitarily and can be played over and over again.

Word Search

This is a game that is familiar to everyone. These types of puzzles appear in newspapers, magazines, as well as in lesson plans. For this puzzle a student is given a list of vocabulary words, they might have some type of theme attached. The student then searches within the given word puzzle for the terms.

Word Game of the Day

This site is useful just because it changes daily. Each day, the word game changes. For example, one day the game focuses on anagrams and the next it changes to word guessing games and then tomorrow who knows what. Each game has directions that are easily followed and each game is easy to accomplish and succeed at.
