In the "TO" field of a mail message put:

You can leave the subject line blank for subscribing to this group.
In the first line of the body of the message put:
subscribe Finite Your Name Note - John Smith would write:
subscribe Finite John Smith
After you are a member of the group you can send a message to all in the group easily.
To send a message to everyone in the mail group you would use the address:
Finite@Ellerbruch.nmu.edu
Don't forget a reasonable subject.
Send a self-introduction message to Finite.
Send a message to the Finite mail group introducing yourself. Use good writing form with complete sentences and paragraphs. Give any appropriate information you would be willing to share with the entire group. Do include a bit of background information regarding who you are, where you are from, your academic areas of study, personal goals, and interests.
